AI Network Config Explainer & Security Check
Paste a Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, pfSense or Juniper config and get a plain-English walkthrough plus security findings with ready-to-paste fixes.
How to use this tool
Paste a device or firewall configuration (a few hundred lines work best). Passwords, secrets, SNMP communities, keys and tokens are masked on the server before anything is analysed, and you can also mask IP and MAC addresses. The result has four parts: what the config does, a walkthrough, security findings ranked by severity with fix commands, and optional improvements. Always review suggested changes in a lab or maintenance window before applying them.
Worked example
A switch config containing "transport input telnet" and "snmp-server community public RO" is flagged as High severity: telnet exposes credentials in clear text and the default SNMP community allows anyone to read device data. The fix shown is "transport input ssh" and an SNMPv3 user.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste a real config?
Secrets such as passwords, keys, tokens and SNMP communities are masked before the text is sent for analysis, and you can mask IP and MAC addresses too. Still, review the text and remove anything sensitive you do not want processed.
Which devices are supported?
Cisco IOS/NX-OS, MikroTik RouterOS, Fortinet, pfSense/OPNsense, Juniper, Ubiquiti and common web server configs. The tool states which platform it detected.
Can I trust the suggested fixes?
Treat them as expert suggestions, not guarantees. Test in a lab or maintenance window and keep a backup of the running config.
